A distinctiveness of this cottage is the shimmering of the morning light on the sunny yellow tiles in the shower. The architect of Limnionas Village, Werner Wieland, received an award for the exterior view of the bathroom window in the late 1970s.
Coming into the house one immediately sees the kitchen with a ceiling made of reed and cypress wood and a frieze made out of little patterned tiles. The living and sleeping area is just around the corner. There are two brick-built single beds forming an angle, a coffee table, a fire place, a wardrobe, and a small bookshelf.
From the main room of the house, one can walk through a glass door to reach the terrace with its barbecue and reed-made arched alley. This terrace is secluded and integrates an olive tree. The enjoyable outlook consists of Mediterranean plants and the massive mountain of Kerkis with all its changing shades of grey.
